Software Design Engineer

MIDDLE TIER AND BACKEND DEVELOPER WANTED FOR OPPORTUNITY WITH THE NORTHWEST\'S SIGNATURE SOFTWARE CORPORATION!

The candidate for this contract position will assist with search engine ranking improvements across potentially 100s of markets in an efficient and reliable manner.

OVERVIEW

- Designs and develops tools, utilities and internal infrastructure to help streamline ranker generation process and qualify the rankers for release
- Debugs and modifies code as required including utilities, batch files, make files, scripts, queries, stored procedures etc.
- Monitors and provides regular status updates on ongoing release activities to core group.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 1-3 years software development experience
- Backend and middle tier coding skills required
- Experience developing programs in at least one high level language, C# preferred
- Must have solid knowledge of software development practices and tools
- .Net framework knowledge and build (CoreXT) as well as Scripting language familiarity a plus
- Database programming knowledge a plus
- Great team attitude to work with multiple team members
- Independent problem solving ability
- Strong attention to detail

This contract position is expected to be 3 months in duration with the possibility of extension.
