SOFTWARE ARCHITECT - "RADIO NETWORK CLOSED LOOP SOFTWARE ARCHITECT"

ONE YEAR CONTRACT

DUBLIN, IRELAND

This is an exciting, one-year contract opportunity for a Software Architect who is looking to get involved in some cutting edge and high-budget projects. This role is based in a brand new development centre with a goal of pioneering new business and software architecture to support next generation products and solutions. As part of the BigData Analytics team your role will be split between systems architecture and advanced prototyping.

SOFTWARE ARCHITECT (SON) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Business Requirements Analysis.
- Discuss with customers on business requirements and present to stakeholders.
- Design, training and validation of Black Box/grey box models for network behaviour
- Mathematical modelling and implementation of network optimization logic

SOFTWARE ARCHITECT (SON) KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Masters or higher degree in computer science, software architectures and/or communications or significant relevant industry experience
- Extensive experience in R&D development with 3+ years focus on mathematical modelling and optimization
- Passion for technology and genuine interest in optimization and mathematical modelling
- Strong interest and knowledge about industry trends.

THE FOLLOWING RELEVANT SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE CONSIDERED ADVANTAGEOUS:

- 3G/4G mobile network optimization and tuning
- Experience with mathematical optimization packages
- Experience on machine learning and AI
- Experience in high performance computing (on CPU, GPGPU or both)
