SOA Java Tech Lead - NYC Bank - FULL-TIME - 130k

My client, a major bank inNew York City, is in need of a technical lead who is well versed in java to join its shared services architecture team. This candidate will be leading the technical design, development and documentation of cross-functional, multiplatform distributed Reporting applications. The technical lead will interfacing with BAs, PMs, SAs to understand requirements, report status and will be required to gather estimates, do production suppor,t and lead design/code reviews. To qualify for this position: - 6 - 8 years of full software development lifecycle experience - Firm understanding of SOA-based concepts, industry standards, and Technologies. - Hands on knowledge and experience on Websphere, Tomcat, MQ - Strong knowledge & Hands on Experience - JMS, Spring, Hibernate or any Other Persistence Framework, Webservices or ESB, JUnit, build scripts - Must have used IDE like RAD/Eclipse - Experience with Flex, HTML 5.0 and javascript frameworks is a plus - Understand Design patterns like, Factory, Service Façade, Singleton, Spring IOC - Must be able to work independently for design, development and collaboratively for integration of components - Experience in relational database design and development skills on SQL, PL/SQL - Excellent communication skills.
