SOA ESB Analyst (Websphere, MQ, Message Broker)

SOA ESB Analyst (WebSphere, MQ, Message Broker): SOA ESB Analyst (WebSphere, MQ, Message Broker) is urgently required for a very long term contract based in Brussels, Belgium.

The SOA ESB Analyst (WebSphere, MQ, Message Broker) must be flexible to work on both technical and business issues from an operational perspective. The aim will be to maintain the high standard of uninterrupted service efficiency on the service delivery activities (KIR and maintenance) and ensure higher quality implementations for new projects. This production environment supports over one million users and this role is set to grow into a team lead position with a commensurate pay rise.

Based on these requirements, we are looking for a SOA ESB Analyst (WebSphere, MQ, Message Broker) with the following profile:

- Have or at least be willing to acquire a combination of both business and technical knowhow
- Have excellent knowledge of Oracle 10g or higher and SQL
- Have good knowledge of AIX 6.1
- Have good knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ and Message Broker
- Have good knowledge of high availability environments (Power HA)
- Good knowledge of Java 1.5 or higher and J2EE 1.4 or higher
- Knowledge of web services
- Be willing to take part in 24X7 guard duty on a rotational basis in a group of at least 5-6 (in total).
- Be willing to take part in outside business hours and/or weekend support as and when necessary.
- Be able to effectively communicate in English. Any knowledge of French or Dutch would be a huge bonus.

Any experience in the following areas is hugely desirable:

- Have good knowledge of Excel and VBA
- Have good knowledge of WebSphere Adapters Family
- Have good knowledge of IBM Datapower SOA Appliances (XB 60/62)
- Have familiarity with WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Business Monitor
- Have familiarity with IBM Integrated Tivoli Monitoring (TEP console)
- Other desirable skills would be:
- Familiarity with Clearcase and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
