Snr Web Developer - CBD (S36)

Based out of Sydney's CBD, this well known organisation is looking for a Web Developer to join them for an initial contract, with a view to go permanent.
Working on a range of websites that cover Arts, Music, Travel and Events, your key responsibilities will be to provide Digital Solutions for existing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Recommend and development of digital technology solutions for all channels including software development, database management, content management system maintenance plus user interface maintenance and development.
- Manage the development cycle for digital projects providing regular feedback to project sponsors and documenting the process and outcomes for future reference.

EXPERIENCE

- Strong experience of digital application development, project management, implementation and documentation.
- Strong experience in developing software engineering standards and demonstrated skills in the documentation of operational procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of and proven experience in Internet development and programming using popular software development tools including, but not limited to, PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML CSS, XML and JavaScript.
- Proven database design and experience in online digital environment
- Solid experience in organising content for digital delivery and a good understanding of search engine optimisation, online usability and accessibility.

- Strong project management skills with experience in managing priorities and meeting deadlines in a high pressure environment.
- Well-developed ability to work as part of a high performing team to ensure quality solutions are provided within a customer service framework.
- Strong relationship management skills with an ability to influence at the operational level.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills with an ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
- Strong Microsoft Office capability (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
