Smart Metering Social Research Manager

I am currently recruiting for a Smart Metering Social Research Manager for an initial 3 month contract working for my Government client based in London.

Successful candidate will be working as part of the Smart Metering Benefits and Evaluation team so it would mainly involved being involved with the energy efficiency advice research project where the day to day management of a commissioned research project testing energy efficiency advice delivered (by installers) as part of smart meter installation visits. We are testing advice (along with a script for delivery) with two broad groups, vulnerable or priority consumers and those with the potential to install energy efficiency measures.

The work will involve being the point of contract with the project team so to hold regular weekly catch-ups and to facilitate joint working between the partner energy suppliers and the project team and to work with the project team to maintain a plan for the work and deliver it.

Essentially there looking for a candidate with strong project management skills, the project has a challenging delivery schedule, complicated by the need to work with two energy suppliers and external contractors. So candidate must have experience of qualitative research design and delivery, because you will oversee the development of topic guides for householders and installers, in addition to monitoring fieldwork and supervising analysis.
