Site Technical Quality Co-Ordinator

A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Site Technical Quality Co-ordinator for its offshore wind farm project. The Quality Co-ordinator will be responsible for the O & M/EPC solution throughout the offshore construction phase and will be reporting to the construction manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The site technical quality Co-ordinator ensures the implementation of the strategy and extent of quality control activities in accordance with the PMP, hereunder the PQMP and site QP

- Advise, assist and follow up on the site team members and designated QC inspectors in relation to installation progress, performance and related quality issues, including snagging list item.
- Participate, as relevant, in the phase of the tendering process, preparation of tender and evaluation of tenders as assistance to the QA manager
- Contribute to the preliminary assessment of the contractors/suppliers ability to meet the requirements
- Report to QA Manager on all quality matters

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 3 years relevant experience with quality management
- Persistent, systematic, structured
- Experience of the clients related IT tools and procedures

KEY DECISION POWERS:

- Co-ordination and management of quality activities and reporting

SPECIAL PROVISIONS:

The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software and mobile telephone
