Site Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to be based in Brussels, Belgium, working for a Market leading Telecommunications client. Excellent rates available, 6 month contract position.

Key Requirements:

Working at height certifications (VCA, GOF).
Technical knowledge of 2G/3G/4G telecom radio access systems.
Knowledge of TX Micro Wave link roll out.
Experienced in finding site technical solution.
Sub-contractor management.
Understanding of the Telecom roll-out process including.
Technical Site Survey.
Engineering package.
Build kick-off. Build phase.
Civil Works.
Build acceptance

Responsibilities:

To be discuss the technical solution with the parties involved.
Check and manage the technical solution.
Understanding of drawings made by the architects based on the technical visit.
Continuously update status into data base (FileMakerPro).
Kick off Meetings check and validation.
BOQ verification and validation.
Follow up of the construction phase to ensure quality and make sure the site can be accepted first time.
To Supervise the progress of site building process; Civil Works Construction, Installation & Integration and Acceptance.
Solving problems escalated by Subcontractors.
Consult subcontractors of site related requirements.
Inspection of work done by subcontractors.
Coordinate and drive acceptance.
Escalate problems to Roll Out/Delivery Manager
