Shipping/Receiving Clerk Job

SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in TREMONT, IL.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS OF YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- High School Diploma/GED
- Shipping/Receiving experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material
- Receiving, packing/unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material and arranging for the transportation of products
- Deliver mail when needed
- Pick orders based on work created from the handheld device, ensure that the correct number and type of product is picked
- Pack products based on the proper packaging techniques, prepare items for shipment
- Verify accuracy of items picked for the specific order
- Reports inventory discrepancy or picking issues to Team Leader
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

What You'll Need to Bring to the Table:

- Attention to detail and quality
- Flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks like light to medium lifting
- Basic computer skills
- Analytical thinking and team player skills

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- MS Access and SAP experience
