Shipping/Receiving Clerk Job

SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK needed for a CONTRACT TO HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in Warden, WA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills
- Math: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure (whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Daily run and monitor reports in SAP to determine volume scheduled to come in as well as to ship.
- Enter all orders on a shipping calendar to provide information for other departments.
- Prepare and organize needed export requirements on a designated shipment timeframe
- With minimal supervision, perform Export documentation activities and functions
- Determine if documentation is compliant with Monsanto and country regulations
- Proactive monitor shipments and take care of all relevant issues concerning delays
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures associated with trade compliance
- Connect with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Regulatory, Trait Development and Research to ensure compliance is understood, supported and effective
- Advanced Agility skills, which includes but is not limited to, ability to adapt quickly to changes or new opportunities and demonstrate a high level of comfort with ambiguity.
- Adherence to SOX and ISO audit standards to be followed as part of yearly audits.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two (2) or more years of experience and/or knowledge in Import, Export, Trade & Compliance, Shipping/Logistics, or Transportation
- Knowledge on export trade of operations preferred
- Knowledge of USDA regulations pertaining to seed exports, Phytosanitary Certificates, Certificates of Origin preferred
- Knowledge of Seed diseases for the US and foreign countries preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Organization and time management skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to be flexible, multi task, prioritize work, and follow work instructions
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime if necessary
