Shipping & Receiving Associate Job

SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Auburn Hills, MI.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Ability to be accountable from the interviewing stages through implementation of performing the below mentioned responsibilities of the position
- Ability to have consistent and reliable means of transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper safety methods

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Preparing documents such as work orders or bills of lading
- Corresponding with establishment representatives to rectify problems
- Packing, sealing, labeling, or affixing postage to prepare materials for transport
- Using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter
- Contacting carrier representatives to make transport arrangements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper safety methods
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Six (6) months or more of Shipping and Receiving experience
- Knowledge of common Warehouse procedures
