Sharepoint, Sql Server Consultant (French Speaking)

Proteus Europe is searching for a skilled Sharepoint/SQL Server systems engineer for a long term contract based in Brussels, Belgium.

Your New role:-

Nature of Service
Security Clearances will be requested at moment of start of mission
Operations and support, security and continuity: Analysis, definitions, design, integration, implementation, test, deployment, maintenance, support

Reference Tasks
The following list of tasks applies to the profiles for the senior Engineers.

This list is not exhaustive and may evolve in time, also depending on the type of assignment:
- Analysis ans specification of operational requirements
- Analysis ans specification of operational processes
- Analysis ans specification of technical requirements
- Proofs of concept
- Development of scripts to automate and monitor recurrent systems related tasks
- Definiion of test strategies, test design, and testing of computing systems and networks
- Change and Configuration management
- Capacity management
- Risk management
- Operaational support (2nd tier)

. Installation and configuration of all relevant hardware ans software
. Daily monitoring
. Incident and problem management
. Reporting
. Corrdination with 3rd party maintenance contractors
- Technical assessment of technologies and related products
- All types of technical documentation, operational guidelines and procedures
- Technical trainingand guidance
- Reporting

With regard to Lot 2A, the following specific tasks apply:

. Sharepoint systems
. Providing technical support for the Sharepoint Governance team
. Managing the Sharepoint farms, including Windows OS and SQL administration related to Sharepoint
. Monitoring Sharepoint disk space usage through the built-in Sharepoint reports for each site collection
. Managing Sharepoint permission
. Analysing and reporting upon Sharepoint usage and activity
. Manages the Microsoft SCOM 2012 Servers in order to monitor Sharepoint, SQL, Windows Clusters and OS
. Regular review, clean-up, management and configuration of Sharepoint accounts and sites
. Regularly analysing Sharepoint content ans storage
. Monitor Sharepoint trends (eg site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth)
. Auditing the Sharepoint environment
. Checking for and applying operating system, SQL Server and Sharepoint patches and cumulative updates
. Plans and performs Sharepoint upgrades and migrations B2B or V2V
. Performs Sharepoint and SQL backups and restores
. Provides support for Sharepoint and SQL developers

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
Specific Practice
- Design, integration, deployment, troubleshooting and operation of MS SharePoint Server 2007, 2010 and 2013 (5 years min)
- Design, integration, deployment, troubleshooting and operation of SQL Server 2005, 2008 and 2012 (7 years min)
- Microsoft Windows Server systems administration (7 years min)

Certifications MCSE:
- SharePoint 2013
- MCSA: SQL Server 2012

Methodologies
- Performance tuning, database optimization (5 years min)

IDE/Programming Languages
- T-SQL (5 years min)
- Windows Power Shell and Scripting (5 years min)

Other Products/Tools
- Usage of SQL Server in conjunction with IIS (3 years min)

Desirable Skills:-
Certifications MCSE:
- MCSE: Business Intelligence or Data Platform (SQL 2012)

Other Products/Tools
- Microsoft Cluster Service in a SQL context (5 years min)
- Use of Microsoft SCOM for SharePoint Server and SQL monitoring (3 years min)
