Sharepoint Solution Architect

Our client is seeking an experienced SHAREPOINT SOLUTION ARCHITECT to lead, design and support the SharePoint based initiatives for this reputable organisation in North Sydney.

To be a successful candidate you will have significant experience and expertise in SharePoint technology, strategy and governance.

Your duties will include:

- Providing a defined SharePoint strategy to support SharePoint as central business and application platform
- Defining and implementing SharePoint Governance
- Designing and leading the implementation of SharePoint based Intranet, Extranet and Internet
- Designing and leading the implementation of a SharePoint based application hosting platform
- Outlining operational guidelines and procedures
- Defining SharePoint requirements and artefacts for RFx and tender documents
- QA and validate vendor responses

Your background:

- Minimum 5+ years experience with SharePoint implementations (2010 or earlier)
- Proven experience with SharePoint 2013
- 10+ years working experience on Microsoft technologies
- Experience with SharePoint strategy, governance, architecture and standards definition
- The ability to integrate SharePoint into Microsoft and 3rd party applications
- At least 3+ years experience in developing custom solutions using the Microsoft .NET platform (SharePoint platform development preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years experience in development methodologies
- Project experience regarding estimates, planning and deliverables
- The ability to create SharePoint solutions/components for RFx and tenders
- The ability to write quality high level and detailed design documents
- Excellent communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills
