Sharepoint Developer - Sharepoint 2013 - SC Cleared - Somerset

SHAREPOINT FRONT END DEVELOPER - SHAREPOINT 2007, - SC CLEARED - REQUIRED FOR A GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION BASED IN SOMERSET.

Candidates must have experience of how to leverage existing Sharepoint web parts to provide business solutions, developing bespoke web parts in Visual Studio as well as customising SHAREPOINT 2013.

MAIN DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow project specifications and timescales

Ensure appropriate use of XHTML; CSS; Javascript; XML; AJAX

Manage source code releases

Use appropriate tools to manage/track tasks

Investigate and fix software faults and bugs as assigned

Following team standards for code control; testing and release management

Report any problems with assigned tasks in good time where possible

Assist in providing development timescales and estimates

Assist in providing technical feedback on business requirements

Communicate effectively with other staff as required to complete work eg with other developers; testers; system administrators; project managers.

CANDIDATES SHOULD BE CURRENTLY SC CLEARED OR HOLD A CURRENT BRITISH PASSPORT AND HAVE BEEN BASED IN THE UK FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS TO ENABLE CLEARANCE TO BE OBTAINED.
