Sharepoint Developer - Server Side - .NET - ASP - Banking - Switzerlan

SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER REQUIRED, with a strong .NET and software engineering background, for an immediate start, to contribute to a bank wide migration project to SharePoint 2013.
The successful candidate will be a SharePoint product expert, with proven experience in enterprise on-premises SharePoint migrations.
Experience in applying software engineering principals, application life cycle management and DevOps is essential.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute to development and deployment of enterprise wide SharePoint components
- Support the migration to SharePoint 2013 from Legacy repositories

MAIN SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Deep knowledge of SharePoint 2013 Server Side Object Model
- Hands-on experience developing to support major migrations
- Demonstrable experience developing against the Microsoft .NET stack
- MVC.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, WebAPI
- Proven experience deploying SharePoint Farm solutions with minimal downtime
- Experience in applying Application Lifecycle Management processes
- Continuous Integration
- Continuous Delivery
- Build Automation
- Test Automation
- Deep understanding of SharePoint's core Lists Infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint's Document Management capabilities
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and common JS libraries (jQuery)
- Developing code to a consistent standard via the use of tools
- Knowledge of SharePoint Search and its APIs
- Strong understanding of SharePoint's Security Model
- Good understanding of PowerShell and how to develop for it
- Experience delivering within and contributing towards Agile practices (eg Scrum)

NICE TO HAVE:

- Experience developing SharePoint 2013 Apps (Add-Ins)

LOCATION: Basel - Switzerland
DURATION: 6 months initial contract with option for extension, (however, the client is looking for someone long term)
