An EXPERIENCED SERVICE TRANSITION MANAGER is required to establish, maintain and continually improve the transition planning and support process within this high profile government organisation.

You will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of all ICT infrastructure service transition activities where IT infrastructure operations are being transitioned in house or to an external service provider and plan the transition management deliverables.

YOU WILL HAVE:

- Demonstrated experience between 10-15 years as a Transition Manager within large scale (50,000+ end user) corporate business or programs, ideally, with experience in sourcing transitions and Data Centre, Infrastructure and End User Computing transition initiatives.
- Extensive background in the delivery of large programs, especially strong involvement with IT infrastructure service management processes.
- Proven experience in leading technical and non-technical teams to deliver complex work within challenging timeframes and periods of major change.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to lead and influence stakeholders on critical issues.
- Highly developed organisational, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to a wide range of managers and stakeholders.
- IT professional qualifications or expert level in ITIL/Prince 2/PMBOK etc.
