Service Now Developer

Our large direct client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer.

Responsibilities Include:
- Developing technical solutions on the ServiceNow platforms (Berlin & Calgary) to satisfy the business needs of the IT department and beyond
- Applying innovative technology to business processes in order to develop new solutions and troubleshoot issues
- Advising on options, risk and impacts on business processes and technical architecture
- Designing and reviewing new requirements and new features based on business needs.
- Creating and/or reviewing various ServiceNow objects, data integrations, reports using Service-Now platform
- Ability to create Business/Email Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions/Policies
- Working knowledge with respect to Access Controls, and the MID Server
- Providing technical support to end users and assess problems to determine root cause.
- Occasional extended or weekend hours for support, rollouts and upgrades.

Required:

- BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of IT experience
- 2-3 years in ServiceNow experience
- In depth understanding and expertise on all ServiceNow modules
- Need to know ServiceNow product with experience in Incident, Problem, and Change processes, Service Request and workflow
- 3+ years JavaScript experience
- Requirements gathering, design and implement processes
- Excellent verbal/written communication, excellent attention to details, ability to multitask, effective time management skills and understand full SDLC life cycle
- Experience working with a team in a fast paced environment

Plusses:

- 3+years administration experience required with Service-Now (all modules)
- Ability to create Business/Email Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions/Policies
- Working knowledge with respect to Access Controls and MID Server
- 3+ years SQL ODBC
- Prior Business Analyst experience a plus
