SERVICE INTRODUCTION MANAGER - CONTRACT

The Service Introduction Manager is accountable for ensuring that new or changed IT services are designed in accordance with production environment standards (including support requirements), all appropriate inputs and approvals are obtained before a final Go-Live and new or change services are transitioned safely into production environment.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

- Risk & Compliance
- Maintain & monitor standards, controls, processes and solutions, to minimise business and IT risk and ensure full compliance with all Group, Legal and Regulatory requirements and standards

MANAGEMENT OF THE SERVICE INTRODUCTION PROCESS

- Develop and own the Service Introduction process, monitor its efficiency, drive its continuous improvement and manage and coordinate all Service Introduction activities

FACILITATE CHANGE DELIVERY

- Engage the Change Delivery function to implement and embed the Service Introduction process in the end to end change delivery life cycle to ensure that all the appropriate operational requirements are taken into consideration
- Act as the entry point into Technology Services for the Change Delivery function to provide the appropriate Technology Services resources to support the Change Delivery function to ensure that a new/changed service meets required availability, performance, capacity, service continuity and security requirements

TRANSITIONING OF CHANGE DELIVERY PROJECTS TO THE PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT

- Supervise the sign-off process for transitioning Change Delivery projects to the live environment to confirm that:
- Business, technology and operational testing was satisfactorily completed
- The required service support models are developed and the correct processes and governance are in place to implement the service support models
- The Application and Infrastructure Management function was engaged to confirm that all service providers can support proposed new or amended services
- All the support teams are ready to support the change in the production environment and the required operational documentation has been produced/updated
- SLAS are designed and agreed and that Service Management has input to/signed off on the design
- The appropriate sign-offs are obtained by the Change Owners at the correct stage eg Architecture, IT security, Infrastructure and App Management etc.
