Insurance - Service Desk Team Lead - Contract

My client is a global financial services organisation.

They are looking for a Desktop Support Manager to lead the Specialist On-site Teams to deliver ongoing support across various IT customers within the UK.
You will run, manage and develop the teams, their services and perception in the marketplace both internally and externally.
On top of this you will lead the provision of Service Management for key external customers for their desktop support services.
You will oversee a small team with specialist skills including PC/laptop support, Windows Servers, Blackberry/BES, backups, printers, scanners PC peripherals and PC application support.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing internal and remote teams.
You will have strong Microsoft technical expertise with experience managing 3rd party vendors ensuring KPI/SLA agreements are met.
You will with ITIL qualified with excellent communication and leadership skills with any client facing/consultancy experience an advantage.
