An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1ST LINE SERVICE DESK SUPPORT OFFICER/HELPDESK TO WORK FOR A LARGE GOVERNMENT, PUBLIC SECTOR ORGANISATION BASED IN WARWICKSHIRE.
Commutable from Leamington Spa, Coventry, Redditch, Solihull and Birmingham. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience working on a Service Desk and AN EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE OF SERVICE DESK CALL LOGGING SYSTEMS ALONG WITH ACTIVE DIRECTORY, WINDOWS 7 XP, CITRIX, MS OFFICE SUITE (2010).
Experience of Mcaffey encryption, Lotus Notes and gmail would be highly advantageous
Duties include:
-Receive support calls via the main Service Desk telephone number and to achieve a high number of fixes at that first point of contact.
-Accurately log the details of each support call and actions taken onto the Service Desk call logging system.
- progress chase, monitor and escalate support calls logged.
