Housing 21, a leading Housing Association requires a IS Service Desk Analyst on a 12 month basis, to be based in their Birmingham office.

Housing 21 is the UK's largest non-profit care provider and a national leader in innovative, affordable housing. Through established community links the organisation is focused on localised delivery and responding to the diverse needs of older people and their communities by developing a range of new support services. Their strength is in the range of quality services offered. These range from affordable rented homes to luxury apartments for sale; from help with shopping to specialist dementia and end of life care.

As part of the IS Service Desk Analyst role your main responsibilities will be to:

Provide full support on all aspects of systems used by Housing 21 (both business and desktop systems) to all levels of users throughout the association.
Monitor and log support requests in a call logging system
Provide first line and second line support to all users on Housing 21 business systems and associated Network functions.
Develop and maintain working knowledge of all Housing 21 PC systems and desktop applications (PCs, thin clients, printers, Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook, and Network connections etc.).
Provide new office staff with IS induction and training.

To be successful in your application for the IS Service Desk Analyst role you will need:
Knowledge to an advanced level of Desktop Systems and Applications eg Windows 7/Vista/XP and Office 2003/2007/2010
Knowledge of Citrix/Thin Client environments including shadowing (Citrix Xenapp desirable)
Knowledge of Cisco IP Telephone systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
