Please read on if you have the following:
Familiarity with large-scale website technology - deep technical knowledge is not required
Knowledge and experience in setting up large-scale infrastructure on which services will be deployed
The ability to analyse architectural designs and judge their operational readiness
The websites involved are strongly integrated with Back End systems/processes.
The SPA focuses on the conception and design phases of new services, reporting to management about pros and cons identified so that management can give a go without risk. The go is in always towards the next steps in the design and delivery of services.
The SPA also collaborates as owner of some operational tasks requested by the projects. The SPA ensures that the quality of service along the design and transition life cycle is maintained as new services are launched in production.
Some tasks:
Validate release strategy and follow its execution
Ensure proper monitoring is in place pre-launch
Document/validate support process before launch
Ensure support teams receive proper documentation and handover
Validate capacity, security, performance
ITIL processes, Prince 2, and Scrum/Agile practices are in use. Applicants need to understand the Quality of Service expectations and know the strategic importance of service.
Large-scale website technologies in use: (IBM WebSphere and Portal Server, Weblogic server, Apache, Oracle databases and content management tool (SOA, ESB, virtualized environment )
Applicants must speak fluent English French and/or Dutch is highly desirable.
