SERVER TEAM LEAD - DV CLEARED  

DURATION: Initial Six months

LOCATION: Salisbury

Steria Recruitment Ltd (a Steria company) provides recruitment and resourcing solutions to Steria, a leading European IT service provider. Steria requires a DV Cleared Server Team Lead to join a large and very professional team working with cutting edge technology in a complex environment.

The Server Team Lead will be responsible for managing the technical staff running the delivered infrastructure at a large Defence site.

The Server Team Lead will look for server technology efficiencies that will assist and improve current and future service delivery.

The role will be based near Salisbury and requires a current DV security clearance.

SERVER TEAM LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES

- Working on the helpdesk system to resolve calls to a defined SLA agreement
- Working closely with Staff to identify usage and capability
- Creating personal development plans to enable staff to grow and excel within this technical environment
- Some technical management and hands on is expected

SERVER TEAM LEADER ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Team Leadership Experience Obtained from a previous role
- Solid understanding and proven track record with Microsoft technologies
- Experience with working with ITIL Framework
- Windows Server 2003/2008
- Active Directory
- RHEL Linux and HPC
- Microsoft SCOM

SERVER TEAM LEADER DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Experience working in a secure defence environment
- Vmware ESX
- Cloud Technologies
- Citrix Xenapp
- DHCP/DNS/WINS
- Symantec Netbackup
- Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Knowledge of networking including Switching/Routing/Firewalls
- Hardware knowledge HP server range etc
- HP SIM
- Microsoft SCCM
