Server Support Specialist

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SERVER SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join our client in Schenectady, New York.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide Back End user support for various Information Technology related problems, including problems associated with: Desktop clients; Windows Servers; Exchange/Outlook e-mail system; and other Microsoft applications.
- Perform Windows system administration tasks.
- Install and configure server operating systems.
- Assist in server problem diagnosis and resolutions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in supporting Windows server computing environment.
- Knowledge and working experience with Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and future versions of the Windows Operating System.
- Experience with server virtualization.
- Experience with interfacing PCs with the UNIX environment would be beneficial.
- A U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE) "Q" ACCESS AUTHORIZATION MAY BE REQUIRED FOR SERVER SUPPORT SPECIALIST.
