Server Administrator

Link Technologies is currently recruiting for Server Administration Specialists, Levels I, II, and III. This is a contract opportunity for an established client in the Las Vegas, NV area.

Job Duties:

- Responsible for development, support, and maintenance of the NTSOPS Domain's Active Directory Root Structure.
- Administration of Servers (eg user account creation, deletion, and maintenance, print queue creation, etc.) and related client support.
- Administration and support of enterprise-wide electronic messaging (Microsoft Exchange) system.
- Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of backup systems.
- Respond to Help Desk request and support and troubleshooting of server related problems.

Experience and Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Or equivalent education and related IT work experience as system administrator, maintaining and supporting Active Directory server environments.

Level I, 4 years

Level II, 6 years

Level III, 8 years

- Advanced knowledge of VMWare ESXi server environments.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of PC and server architecture, functions, and use of hardware and software testing tools for troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of server and Network Architecture.
- Knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SAN), Linux, and Citrix a plus.

Note:  One year experience shall substitute for one year of education.  Any experience utilized to fulfil education requirements cannot count towards the position's required number of years of experience.
