SENIOR WINDOWS ENGINEER - DUBLIN, IRELAND
My client, a telecommunications company, is now looking to hire a Senior Windows Engineer to join the ever growing team in their Dublin office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Windows Engineer on a daily rate contract basis.
THE JOB:
- To provide ICT advice and/or professional services to both internal and external clients.
- To provide support on projects, carrying out elements of the research, analysis and/or delivery.
- To provide operational support ensuring KPIs and SLA are achieved.
- May lead on the delivery of specific components of a project.
- Occasionally provides on the job training to other team members.
- To support the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures.
- May involve liaising with internal, external and third party suppliers.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- ITTL certified.
- Formal vendor training to professional certification standards, eg Citrix, MCP, MCTIP, MCSE, Dell, HP certified systems engineer etc.
- Citrix Xenapp/Desktop administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience in SQL Cluster Installation and Admin on base Windows OS (2003/2008/2012) with Microsoft SQL server (2000/2005/2008/2012).
- Proven DNS & DHCP Implementation and Administration experience.
- SCCM.
- Windows 2008/2012 administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Ensure all documentation is 100% accurate before presenting it to the customer for approval.
- Develop and maintain good relationships between the customer and 3rd party suppliers.
- Ensure changes are closed off properlyfor more information go to our website.
