- Use agile engineering practices and modern development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that delivers against the product as outlined by the Product Owner
- Collaborate with other agile team members to steer technology choices towards a leading edge setup that delivers against the longer term needs and vision from the Product Owner
- Identify, suggest and conduct technology enabled product experiments in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Provide technology expertise in discussions with stakeholders
- Full stack developers will have a range of responsibilities from shaping and implementing digital products to ensuring that we stay on the leading edge of technology.
- Our engineers contribute across the full technology stack, from database and DevOps infrastructure that supports continuous deployment, over native apps, to front end development.
- As a Senior Software Engineer you will work in a cross-functional team with the Product Owner, Designers and Senior Engineers to co-develop the digital products.

Anforderungen

- At least 6 years of software development experience with experience working in agile teams
- Full stack engineer with a passion for mentoring other colleagues in the team
- Should be a change agent that always challenges status quo
- Excellent programming skills in modern JavaScript and NodeJS
- Good programming skills in at least 1 more modern programming language/ framework, such as Go Lang, Elixir, Ruby on Rails, C++, Python, Scala, or others
- Excellent working knowledge of HTML/ CSS and a modern frontend JavaScript framework, such as ReactJS, AngularJS, EmberJS, Vue.js
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and one common database technology, such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB, HBase, Neo4J
- Infrastructure knowledge including RESTful APIs, Single Sign On, LDAP, Search Technologies
- Working knowledge of tools like Grunt / Gulp / Babel / Webpack
- Working knowledge of DevOps, Docker and infrastructure as code
- Experience with at least one unit testing framework, such as MochaJS, RSpec
- Familiarity with the concepts of Functional Programming and Microservices is a plus
- Experiences with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications, application security
- Working knowledge and experience in designing distributed applications
- Real passion for development and a demonstrated appetite for continual learning
- Knowledge of pair programming, continuous integration and test-driven developmentInsurtech /fintech experience a plus
- English required. Polish and German, in addition to English, is a plus
- Community contributions (e.g., open source work, publishing / speaking on technical ideas) is a plus
