MUST HAVE SKILLS:
6+ years of experience using at least one open sourced development language (ie PHP, Python, Ruby, Python, etc.), 4+ years of experience using and developing in Drupal and within at least one Open Source Development Framework (ex. Zend, Zope, Rails, Perl, Python, etc.)

Nice to have:
3+ years of experience with HTML5, 3+ years of experience with jQuery/JavaScript, 2+ years of .NET development experience (C# preferred) and/or Java

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Senior Web Developers needed to develop and maintain internal collaboration platforms and other R&D related activities. Must be able to develop in and maintain a LAMP/Drupal environment. Candidate must be a self-starter, requiring minimal directions from the supervisor, and able to deliver user friendly designs based off of high level requirements. Extensive experience with Agile methodologies required.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, build and maintain web sites, using open sourced Scripting languages
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation on the code/projects working on
- Work with team to develop metrics and reporting tools on internal Collaboration program
- Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and schedule/implement corrective measures.
- Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
- Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
- Work with supervisor to evolve the SDLC and other development processes
- Recommend the best possible solutions and resolutions to technical challenges

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of related experience required
- 6+ years of experience using at least one open sourced development language (ie PHP, Python, Ruby, Python, etc.)
- 4+ years of experience using and developing in Drupal and within at least one Open Source Development Framework (eg Zend, Zope, Rails, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of how to administer and managing all aspects of a LAMP and Drupal environment.
- Ability to administer Linux at application level and write scripts to automate processes
- Expert knowledge DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, REST, SOAP, JSON
- Expert knowledge of database schema modelling and SQL querying
- Expert knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in creating scalable web portals and Enterprise 2.0 applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one s time
- Must work onsite in Foster City

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS:

- 3+ years of experience with HTML5
- 3+ years of experience with jQuery/JavaScript
- 2+ years of .NET development experience (C# preferred) and/or Java
- Experience developing in or integrating with Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 and Jive 6
- Experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Experience in Web UI design, user experience and enterprise social computing
