Senior Web Designer/Developer

Senior Web Designer/Developer required for initial 3 month contract in Sydney's CBD. Reporting to the Technology Manager, you will be responsible for the analysis, prototype, re-factor and development of new user interactions covering a large number of end-to-end business scenarios over Web and Mobile.

Duties:

- Review Web Strategy, Online Transaction model, Information Architecture and User interaction design of new and current mobile and mobile front web applications, and developing an integrated mobile/web experience
- Design content, delivery and user interaction for both Web and mobile clients, and developing styles and templates for the development team
- Re-design and develop an existing online web experience to ADAPTIVE AND NATIVE MOBILE EXPERIENCE for tablets and phones
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop, and enhance design/usability of current web and mobile front web app applications

Background:

- Senior designer level skills with Photoshop and pixel perfect concepts
- Strong hands on JavaScript and experience with using at least one of the frameworks such as emberJS, canJS, jQuery, AngularJS
- Experience and demonstrated portfolio of work using mobile front CSS frameworks such as Grid, Pure, Bootstrap and Foundation to cater for responsive design of web sites/web apps
- Demonstrated experience of Web strategy, Information Architecture and usability design
- Strong demonstrated Front End development experience using HTML5, CSS3 and SCSS process. Experience with using NodeJS and other similar Front End compiling/deployment tools
- Preferable demonstrated experience of Mobile DEVELOPMENT and DEPLOYMENT
- Experience with hybrid app development using PhoneGap/Cordova and understands the deployment and publishing process
- Solid understanding of Agile Development, and experience working with RAD/prototyping methodology
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Design, Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience
