Senior Visual Designer

Our very high-visibility client's Display Advertising Team is seeking a talented, customer-obsessed Senior Visual Designer to create innovative advertising experiences on the client's extensive media properties. The ideal candidate will combine the ability to create big ideas with exceptional visual design execution.

Your primary focus will be to design visually compelling and beautiful advertising creative for online media. You will work closely with product, sales and marketing teams to create and bring ideas to life to help drive new business. Prior experience in an agency or media environment creating advertisements for global brands is required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 4 years' experience as Visual Designer, preferably with 2+ years in an agency environment
- FLUENCY IN BOTH WRITTEN ENGLISH AND JAPANESE
- Online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong visual design skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with primary focus on Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated, customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent professional experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Copywriting skills a plus
- Advertising experience across a range of media including online, mobile or print preferred

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
