Senior UX Designer Job

SENIOR UX DESIGNER needed for a full-time, contract opportunity with Yoh's client based in downtown Seattle Washington.

THE BIG PICTURE-TOP SKILLS TO POSSESS:

- Human-Computer Interaction Designer (UI/UX) with strong design, technical, and problem solving skills

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Develop and communicate ideas for new multiplayer maps
- Design and block out gameplay spaces using Maya software
- Use our proprietary tools to set maps up for playtest
- Participate in playtest sessions, collect feedback and drive iteration loops
- Maintain maps as they go into production

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING THE TABLE:

- A portfolio demonstrating sound design principles and process (sketches, IA, wireframes, etc.) coupled with elegantly functional and pixel-perfect solutions is required, as is a demonstrated high capability in web-centric development tools and Scripting languages.
- Experience with game development pipelines are a plus!

BONUS POINTS!

- A strong understanding of touch, NUI, and GUI interaction trends and industry standards, including emerging and speculative technologies.
- Expertise in designing product interaction models and behavioral prototypes.
- High degree of comfort with HTML, CSS, XSL, XAML, JavaScript, or similar Scripting languages.
- Minimum BA/BS in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Computer related Design, HCI, Human Factors, or closely-related field.
- Strong foundational skill in Typography
