Senior Unix System Administrator

Our prestigious investment bank client seek a Senior UNIX System Administrator with migration and implementation experience to help with a SAN/NAS storage migration project. You will be responsible for administering, maintaining, enhancing and implementing system changes from small components, to entire complex systems infrastructure, adhering to the established industry standards. This also involves monitoring and controlling the performance and status of the infrastructure and the physical computer equipment on which systems and applications operate.

Experience:
- Last 3 years administering storage migrations or minimum of 5 years UNIX administration including migration projects.
- Project management experience, leadership and team collaboration skills.

Technical skills:
- Clustering, Filesystem, Volume Manager, Disksuite, ZFS, RHCS
- OS: Redhat Linux, Oracle Solaris, Solaris Zones, VMWare,
- HW: Sun Fire and enterprise product line, Fujitsu Prime power series, HP DL Servers, IBM Blades and SAN/NAS storage
- LVS
- Shell script

This is a 6 month contract only, ASAP start date (absolutely no later than 23rd June)
