Senior Test Analyst/Coordinator - 3 Months

TEST - TESTING - DEN HAAG - TELECOMS

For my client based in Den Haag, The Netherlands I am looking for a Senior Test Analyst/Coordinator with experience in the telecoms industry for an initial 3 months contract to support the existing Testing team on site. 

As Senior Tester you will be responsible for the preparation, execution and coordination of test activities executed within the business, by showing that the changes tested comply with the system, functional and business requirements. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Must have experience with Unix/Linux and Windows based systems, Web and Database technologies (Oracle, XML, Java, HTML) 
- Experience with test preparation and testing of Business and Operational Support Systems 
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools 
- Experience with TMAP and/or ISEB approach 
- Experience with test coordination
- Knowledge in Telecoms Market/Provisioning Systems

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR TESTER WILL INCLUDE: 

- Working on projects, changes, and production incidents/problems 
- Supporting business in setting up logical test cases 
- Responsible for the test deliverables derived from functional and technical

specifications 
- Executing and reporting on system, integration and acceptance test sets through

different test levels across different test environments 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

- Liaise closely with business and the IT department to define and execute testing across various test levels including system, integration, regression and acceptance 
- Execution of test cases and reporting of test progress on a daily/weekly basis to the IT manager 
- Identifying, anticipating and reporting of risks regarding the test design 
- Raise issues in a bug tracking system 
- Retesting of bugs after fixing by development and validating fix quality 
- Ensuring that the test environment and test data is set-up properly to execute the tests 
- Create (parts of) test strategies, test designs, test books and test cases based on specifications written by project management and functional analysts 
- Review created test deliverable by other testers 
- Report progress on the creation of test deliverables 
- Show a pro-active attitude towards blocking issues and solvability 
- Contribute to continuous test progress improvement 
- Coaching and supporting other testers
