Senior Telecom Engineer

JOB TITLE: SR. TELECOM ENGINEER

JOB LOCATION: HILVERSUM, NETHERLANDS

JOB TYPE: CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

YOU WILL HAVE OWNERSHIP IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

- Will be responsible for the Avaya infrastructure across Europe supporting 27 countries.
- Own project implementation and support documentation in conjunction with the Reference Architecture documentation. Communicate the concept behind the design to IT and business stakeholders.
- Immediate ownership and support in complex escalations and incidents.
- Continuous improvements and optimization on capacity management, stability and availability of the Europe telecom infrastructure.
- Support in immediate business needs, such as events.

A TOP PERFORMER IN THIS ROLE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- In-depth knowledge of Avaya Aura Session Manager, System Manager, Communication Manager, Messaging and Conferencing.
- Experience with Avaya Contact Center, CMS, Avaya Experience Portal, Avaya Application Enablement Server
- Extensive experience with telephony dial plan design and call routing/control protocols such as SIP, H.323, Q.SIG, ISDN PRI and BRI, CAS and LCR.
- Best Practice knowledge and sensitivity to trends influencing design in the UC infrastructure. Demonstrated ability to create designs within set timelines.
