Are you a Senior Technical VM Ware Specialist and willing to work in Belgium on a project for 3 months? Please contact us.

Duration: 3 months
Location: Flexible and willing to work in Belgium
Languages: English/Dutch
As part of the Infrastructure Services team you will be expected to play a key role in the design, build and maintenance of the Enterprise IT, Test and Merchant Processing Datacentres as well as providing a 3rd level escalation point for the EIT Service desk and 2nd line teams.
Deliverables/Tasks
Provide 3rd line support to the EIT 1st and 2nd line teams
Managing and maintaining the virtual and physical Servers
Managing and maintaining the VMware host Servers
Microsoft Active Directory Management
Microsoft Exchange Administration
Manage and maintain the Enterprise IT Network
Proactively propose innovations to improve performance and reduce maintenance costs
Manage Backups
Liaise with 3rd party suppliers
Critical Competencies - skills and abilities required for the role
Responsible, taking ownership
Approachable and be willing to mentor the Enterprise IT engineers
Proven perseverance and determination
Real team player, but also able to work independently
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; must be able to operate in a dynamic (24x7) environment without losing focus on the end user or quality of service delivery
Able to work under time pressure
Be able to demonstrate strong documentation and report writing skills
Good communicator; willing and able to teach and train others
Experience
3-5 years experience in similar role, preferably in an international team
Experience in setting up or working with ITIL
Experience in the design, implementation and support of high availability environments along with associated security and monitoring systems
Microsoft Cisco certification would be an advantage
Other significant role requirements
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
The candidate must be willing to work oncall shifts (24x7 on a regular basis)
