OVERVIEW: Responsible for designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency, knowledge of computer hardware and software.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
- Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs utilizing software packages considered.
- Mainframe specialty: reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale Mainframe computer system.
- Maintains and develops on-line and batch application programs.
TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS: Knowledge of computer hardware and software
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of work experience typically required.
This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
