Senior Tech Risk & Control Partner

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client, a top tier Bank in the City of London.

A contract opportunity as a Senior Technology Risk and Control Partner has become available for a risk professional that will be reporting directly to the Head of Technology Risk. The ideal candidate will be a Technology Risk Management expert who can efficiently provide advice and guidance in respect of audits plans.

THE ROLE:

STRATEGY:

- Contribute to creation of Technology Risk Objectives and strategy supported by action plans aligned to business strategy and goals
- Supporting development of a strategic team plan
- providing Tech Risk related inputs into MTP and STP processes for BCOO/SBU control improvements
- General audit and compliance governance consultancy

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:

- Partnering with stakeholder, Senior Technology risk partner
- develop excellent relationship with internal customers SBU and BCOO customers
- Provide targeted reviews and assurance reports
- Develop working relationships with other Governance and Risk Management teams

ASSURANCE, REMEDIATION AND CHANGES TO THE CONTROL ENVIRONMENT:

Ensure SBU/BCOO Control environment is:

- Operating effectively and meeting stakeholder requirements in line with risk appetite
- Operating effectively to deliver the clients policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Audit ready

THE CANDIDATE

- Good knowledge of approach to risk management, assessment and profiling techniques
- Ability to translate Group Policy into solutions that augment
- Broad understanding of other risk related policies, such as the Data Protection Act, Disability Discrimination Act, etc.
- familiar with risk and control frameworks
- Expert in relation to internal audit methodology, process and procedure.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to remediate control issues identified by Internal Audit.
