The Senior Systems Engineer role is to ensure the stable operation of the production infrastructure systems. This includes maintaining, supporting and optimizing key functional areas, including server and SAN architecture.

The Systems Engineer will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems according to SLAs and execute projects under the supervision of the central IT department in Manila.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
*Maintain development infrastructure environment and operations:
oMaintain and deploy Physical and Virtual Server Infrastructure.
oDeploy database and development environments from a systems and OS perspective.
oDeploy new software and Back End systems.
*Participate in various infrastructure projects.
oWork within project framework in order to achieve goals.
oReport on activities to the Systems and Project Managers.

*Required Knowledge(Minimum of 6 years' experience)
oImplementation of Windows systems based on Windows 2012 and 2012 R2.
oWorking knowledge of HP DL and BL server hardware.
oHigh level/Expert knowledge of Windows administration and Active Directory.
oVMware ESXi installation and configuration, including clustering and HA.
oKnowledge in installation and configuration of Windows clustering technology.
oFamiliarity with backup solutions and strategies including disk and tape based systems.
oFluent in English

*Desirable Knowledge
oConfiguration and maintenance of NetApp FAS series based SAN and NAS, including NFS, CIFS, FCP, and ISCSI protocols.
oFamiliarity and experience implementing DR and BCP solutions.
oConfiguration and maintenance of EMC VNX (Block) and Clariion CX-4 series based SAN.
oBrocade and Cisco MDS based fabric zoning and configuration.
oGood understanding of networking concepts. (VLAN, Firewall, switching, etc )
