Senior Systems Engineer (m/f) for Hamburg

Currently we are searching for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:

Project description:

As senior systems engineer you are responsible for the new data centre opening next year. Further you play a key role in deployment, designing, administration and supporting the infrastructure.

Your tasks:

-

administration of Cisco UCS and EMC vSpex/vPlex infrastructure
-

administration and design of the VMware vSphere v6.x infrastructure
-

constantly analysing internal needs and determining the best solution for the business
-

coordination of other technical and non-technical roles as necessary to provide the appropriate solutions

Your profile:

-

overall understanding of technical processes and requirements
-

strong technical knowledge about VMware vSphere v6.x, EMC VNX storage and Cisco UCS systems
-

willing to travel to meet with regional and global teams during projects
-

excellent knowledge in understanding the various ways of Windows and Linux infrastructure
-

good network understanding and significant experience with 3rd level enterprise support
-

good understanding of the administration of Windows Server 2012/2016
-

On-call rota participation
-

qualification in VCP-DCV v6, EMCSA or similar
-

good NetApp and DELL server/storage knowledge would be advantageous
-

Veeam Backup and Replication v9x; Turbonomic would be advantageous
-

ITIL v3 certification
