Senior Systems Engineer (C11)

Finite Canberra has a Government client seeking a SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER.

This is a contract opportunity beginning early August 2013 to 30 June 2014 (Option for extension).

For this Role you must be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN with an ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Requirements:

- Significant experience with provisioning HP BladeSystem infrastructure in an Enterprise environment.
- Significant experience of Windows 2003/2008 R2 server operating environments.
- Experience in managing application deployment and developing process to support robust, repeatable process.
- Experience in VMWare vSphere virtualisation technologies.
- Be available to participate in on-call roster to provide 24x7 support, if required.

Experience in:

- HP BladeSystem design and implementation
- Windows Server 2003/2008 in a web environment
- AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, backups, anti virus, patching and builds; HP hardware and VMware;
- HP SIM and SCOM tools;
- VMWare ESX/vSphere Virtualisation technologies.
