Senior Systems (Devops) Engineer

Our client, a renowned broadcaster and digital media provider, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems (DevOps) Engineer to join an existing team in Osterley, West London. You will join a software development group that uses cutting edge technology to provide applications that put the Client first for online content, customer service and sales. You will either join a team of DevOps (System) Engineers, or be embedded into a Scrum team developing and running one or more websites, and will focus on repeatable ways to install operating systems and all applications that run on them. As a Senior DevOps Engineer youll be knowledgeable and passionate about technology, will be good and "getting things done" and believe that the route to speed and stability is through automation.

Key Responsibilities

Enhancing and supporting a build framework for deploying applications and managing Linux servers.

Running development, stage and production environments and deployments.

Supporting and working alongside Agile development teams to ensure they have all the facilities to get the job done.

Driving best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm.

Owning and managing relationships with multiple suppliers

This is a contract vacancy, initially for 3 months, based in Osterley, West London. The daily rate of pay is negotiable, circa 400.00 per day to 450.00 per day. Please send CV in the first instance.
