Senior Systems Developer - Crawley

Capita's key Utility client is currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Developer to be based in Crawley, working on their Smart Metering Programme.

You will be designing, building and implementing changes to Logica Instant Energy third party head end related to the client's smart metering trials architecture and provide operational support of issues. You will also be supporting the wider Smart Metering Programme to assist on Energy Development.

If you have Smart Metering knowdlege (particularly head end, MDMS and smart meter knowledge) it would be considered ideal for the team. The client would also like the candidate to have proven Data Architecture experience, Web Services, XML and SQL 2008 R2. The role holder will need to have a working knowledge SAP modules and Energy Sector.

ROLE CONTEXT:

The Systems Developer reports to the Smart Trials Build lead. The Systems Developer is primarily responsible for the maintenance and development of the Logica Instant Energy head end solution that supports the Trials Smart Metering Architecture and all the organisations systems that use Instant Energy. The Systems Developer will also support the development and maintenance of the Trials database.
