A Senior Systems Architect is required to provide an effective IT system for a highly recognized global force within the public sector. Boosting an annual income of over £170m as a result of a major capital investment they are committed to using the latest technologies within IT to provide the best services to their end users.

The Senior Systems Architect will need to be competent and have a good working knowledge with large data. As a lead architect directly line managing a team of developers and application architects you will be responsible for the developments for systems, ensuring consistency with functional, service quality and systems management requirements. You also be required to translate logical designs into physical implementations.

This opportunity will provide the right candidate with the chance to really make a positive impact to the way their IT systems are ran.

The Senior Systems analyst must have:

* Previous project management experience
* Extensive hands on SQL or oracle experience
* Sound knowledge of application, development methods, application systems, and techniques and standards.
* An expert level in understanding of end-to-end systems lifecycle
* Sound knowledge of change and configuration management
* Excellent written and oral communication skills and delivering technical ideas to a non-technical audience
* A degree
