Senior Systems Administrator - Immediate Start - June 2013 Contract

A fantastic opportunity has become available for experienced Senior Systems Administrators within a Government Department for a long-term contract role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide technical leadership within the Technical Team with regard to infrastructure and network solution design, implementation and operation;
- Work closely with infrastructure services areas, architecting, procuring and implementing infrastructure and network services required to support the Siebel and 3rd party applications, including Adobe form server and Intelledox document production;
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and network issues related to the Siebel and 3rd party applications;
- Development and
- High level support for all Siebel and 3rd party application environments.

SKILLS:

- Demonstrated senior systems administration skills and experience in the integration of enterprise class applications into a network environment, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft 2008/Windows 7 SOE LAN and desktop infrastructure; detailed understanding of the secure gateway environment for provision of corporate applications over the Internet; experience in integrating applications with directory authentication services; and provision of Microsoft and third party application monitoring frameworks;
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving and research skills and the ability to document solution designs and operating procedures effectively; and
- Ability to define estimates for task duration and a commitment to meeting agreed timelines, and working with limited supervision in a team environment.
