On behalf of one of our major clients in Basel, we are looking for an experienced and flexible Senior Systems Engineer with strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux knowledge.
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of system design, installation, operation, monitoring and support of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with storage, ideally EMC VMAX and/or EMC VPLEX and/or NetApp storage administration.
- Experience in Perl and Shell Scripting.
- Excellent general infrastructure know-how, with experience in complex heterogeneous IT environments
- Experience with Change Management procedures.
- Willing to take over call-out responsibilities in the relevant areas.
- Fluency in English
