Senior System Engineer

Role Summary:
The role is part of the Service Now Data Integration Team which enables ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) of data from the company's various sources to our Service Now instances via a mid-server configuration. The nature of the work comprises both projects and ongoing production support.

The Role Involves:
Describe what the candidate will need to accomplish in the role.
Design, Deploy, and Support Automated ETL jobs for a variety of Data Source types within the existing framework.
Support and maintain the scheduled jobs and data Import definitions and transform maps within ServiceNow
Documentation - Design, monitoring and Implementation documents
Assist and mentor the support teams in problem resolution and drive for constant correct shift.

Qualifications:
List qualitifications, skills and certifications (bullets form recommended)
Bachelor's degree required
Strong Perl experience (essential)
Hands on ETL experience (asset)
JavaScript (asset)
ServiceNow knowledge (asset)
Identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues
Demonstrated experience with databases, including SQL programming, preferable Oracle.
Strong knowledge of Windows server environment
Proven ability to work independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business analysts, solution architects, project managers and development teams. English essential, German would be an asset.
