Real Life Options is currently seeking candidates for Senior Support Worker roles in the Glasgow area. At Real Life Options, our ability to deliver high quality person focused support is important to us and that's why we want to provide skilled, knowledgeable and confident staff.  Our services support individuals to live in their own homes or within our small specialist homes. We invest in on-going training for our staff to make sure that people have A Real Choice, A Real Voice and the chance to experience A Real Difference.

The ideal candidate will have:

&bull Good communication skills who has the ability to lead and mentor a staff team and organise rotas.
&bull SVQ 3 and SVQ 4 Supervisory Units would be an advantage or a willingness to work towards these qualifications.
&bull An aptitude and enthusiasm for the role who has a positive,compassionate and encouraging nature.
&bull A &ldquocan do, will do&rdquo attitude with good listening and observation skills

You will need to have a positive attitude to the rights of people with a learning disability, particularly their right to be treated with the respect and dignity that they are entitled to as an equal member of society.

&bull Have a sense of fun but be compassionate in the hard times
&bull Experience of autism and challenging behaviours is desirable
&bull Full driving licence desirable too.
&bull Experience within services for people with disabilities
