Senior Supplier Manager

A Leading Financial Firm are looking to hire an experienced Senior Supplier Manager

The successful candidate will have broad experience in managing supply chains in the financial services and/or IT systems arena. This role will involve managing some of the most important, Strategic supplier partners to Group IT.

As such, you'll need to be able to demonstrate Strong experience of third-party contractual work and Partnership development. That you have got the ability to lead and deliver initiatives which will improve the quality and value of the components of our cost base. You must also have demonstrable stakeholder management ability up to Director level with the gravitas to interact and influence at Head of Function level to deliver effective supplier strategies across Service Delivery.

Accountabilities:

* You will have complete accountability for all aspects of partner and business delivery through the Supply Chain Cycle.
* Undertake regular performance reviews in line with Group Mandated Segmentation Treatment Strategy requirements to cover all aspects of partner performance.
* Work with partners and the virtual account team to continuously improve partner performance and ensure key performance indicators are met or exceeded and when issues arise they are addressed
* Identify and deliver improvement to the Customer experience and cost outcomes delivered by your partners.
* Deliver against the agreed objectives contained in the account plan.
* Manage and influence a broad range of stakeholders at all levels (inc Exec) within respective businesses.
* Lead a virtual account team to deliver business results.
* Develop and deliver the strategic agenda of Group IT in partnership with our chosen service providers.
* Ensure that partners have robust risk controls.
* Embed Supplier Management Standards, ensuring that our evidential standards are high to demonstrate Controls are in place.
* Identify and deliver incremental profitability and growth opportunities within your accounts.
* Manage input into Group IT projects and strategies as and when required
