Senior SQL Server DBA/OLTP

Lead SQL Server Data Warehouse DBA (2005/ 2008) required for a successful international Online/ Offline Media and advertising organization based inLondon. The role will involve working on several exciting projects due to the nature and demand of their business. You will be a senior member of the team, taking responsibility to both train junior member and lead on critical projects.

The role will also involve the design, development and maintenance of a data warehouse so experience of Kimball star schema data marts & cubes is important.

Key Requirements:

Strong SQL Server 2008 R2 Experience

Configuration, upgrading and support of SQL software

High Availability Experience

Troubleshooting, Performance tuning, Indexing etc

Experience of SQL, T-SQL scripting

SSIS, ETL Experience

Data Warehousing Experience e.g. OLTP/OLAP and Star Schema

Support of .net/ IIS (Internet Information Services) or similar Web Applications

Great Communication Skills

The primary function of the role will be to administer the SQL Platform as well as to design, optimize and maintain an Data Warehouse in SQL Server 2008 R2 including monitoring and optimizing all OLTP & OLAP solutions.
