Senior SQL DBA- London

SQL Database Developer with strong ETL/SSIS/SSRS skills currently required by my London based client for an initial 3 month contract which is likely to extend for a longer period of time.

My client is looking for an experienced SQL Developer with both strong Database and Development skills. Ideally you will have experience of;

*Ensuring high availability of company databases
*Carry out daily core DBA duties which include performance monitoring and tuning
*Carry out development activities as directed by the project and infrastructure teams
*Work closely with IT Service Desk and Infrastructure team on support issues
*Work closely with development team to advise on best practice and structure of databases, queries, indexes, etc.

My client is looking for someone who has worked as an SQL DBA for a minimum of 5 years and has experience of ETL Processes along with Microsoft SSIS and SSRS technologies. You must also be experienced in T-SQL Programming. stored procedures, functions and triggers. SQL Server 2008 skills are essential.
